How this site earns money

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Gamer Manual is reader-supported. When you buy through certain links on this site, we may earn an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. This page explains exactly how that works.

Where affiliate links appear

Affiliate links appear only in the "picks" section of product reviews. Every article that contains them carries a visible disclosure directly beneath the picks heading, on the same screen as the links themselves — not buried in the footer. Articles without a picks section carry no commercial links at all.

How the links are labeled

Outbound links route through an outbound page at /go, which shows the destination and a second disclosure before you continue. In the page code, affiliate links are marked rel="nofollow sponsored" so search engines can identify them; that marking is not visible to readers, which is why the visible disclosure exists alongside it.

What commissions do not do

• Commissions do not change ratings, picks, or conclusions.
• We do not accept payment for reviews or placement.
• Products without an affiliate program are recommended on the same terms as products with one.

Which programs we participate in

We participate in affiliate programs operated by gaming hardware brands and by affiliate networks. Program participation may change over time; this page reflects the current state of the site. If you ever find a claim on this site that contradicts this page, please tell us via the contact page.
